Our Favourite Vineries Along The Adriatic Coast

If your idea of a perfect holiday is drinking good wine amongst beautiful surroundings, these fabulous vineries are the perfect destination for you.

The focus is not on the quality of the wine- which is albeit exquisite- but on the love that is put into every step of making it.

The locals are extremely proud of their history and way of life, meaning they will do everything they can to offer you an experience that is authentic to their traditional heritage.

With so many fantastic taverns and vineyards to explore, it can be hard to find the best wine-tasting experience for you. Our fully researched itineraries feature unmatchable insights into the best spots on the market and can be altered to you bespoke preferences if required.

Savina Winery

Situated at the entrance of the Bay of Kotor- near the Savina Monastery- is a perfect spot for you to enjoy high quality wine. The Savina Winery is a hidden gem that offers breath-taking natural views from the Savina hillside, in the town of Meljine in Herceg Novi.

Encompassed by luscious Mediterranean vegetation and trees, this seventeen-year-old vinery personifies the passion the owners hold for family traditions and luxury wines alike.

The finest grapes are carefully harvested from the sun kissed vineyards and transformed into fully nurtured wine within the French oak barrels of the estate cellar.

The many varieties of wine available pair perfectly with the mouth-watering Mediterranean cuisine on the menu. We’d recommend the excellent Rose Grenache, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Alternatively, high quality brandies such as Travarica and Loza are also produced by the Savina Winery.

This small, boutique winery will definitely be an experience to remember.

Bibich Vinery

The Bibich vinery is just 15 minutes from Skradin Port, near Krka National Park. Take a look at the photos and imagine yourself soaking up the sun amongst the tranquil atmosphere.

This vinery is another hidden treasure, located in the magical city of Sibenik- known as a paradise for wine lovers. Here you can taste more than 13 different wines alongside an exciting menu of delicious food.

The exceptional service and beautiful surroundings contribute to the serene atmosphere. You’ll also have the opportunity to see wines being made, meaning this is the perfect spot for expanding your knowledge and creating memories that will last.

Saint Hills Vinery

Take a break from the hustle and bustle of your trip by settling down to relax.

Watch the shadows of the hills dance across the water, with a great glass of Peljesac wine in hand. Experience the traditional way of life as you indulge in carefully prepared dishes and spend time with locals who are proud of their exuberant heritage. Your attentive hosts will also assist you as you taste a variety of famous Croatian wines.

If you are near Peljesac peninsula, Saint Hills vinery is for sure an excursion not to be missed!

Meneghetti Wine Hotel & Winery

The Meneghetii hotel and winery is approximately 45 minutes from Pula port, or 40 minutes from Rovinji.

Located in the lovely Istria country, this is a highly recommended spot surrounded by famous national parks, lovely cities, and fabulous islands.

Since the early 19th century, this hidden rural estate has been known as one of the most beautiful mansions in the Mediterranean. Almost 100 years ago, this place was a well-known refuge for Austro-Hungarian arm officers.

20 years ago, a close family with a passion for Istria found the abandoned spot and decided it would be a beautiful location for a hotel and winery. The family have invested an abundance of love and patience throughout the years, creating a luxurious atmosphere and service that will fascinate you. Rather than ruin the nature that surrounds their business, they carefully maintain the environment and utilise it to make great wines.
